My Story

Adriana Kaegi:
-
As an executive producer, and digital innovator, Adriana Kaegi’s story is that of a true disruptor: someone who consistently sees what’s coming next, embraces new technology, and reshapes how culture is captured and shared.
-
Adriana Kaegi has always been ahead of her time. She first stepped into the spotlight as co-founder of Kid Creole & The Coconuts, a genre-bending band that fused music, fashion, and performance art into a vibrant spectacle. Long before the term “content” became a buzzword, Kaegi was already experimenting with a reality TV style documentary, a behind the scenes film "Kid Creole and my Coconuts", before the word was event invented—helping to define the theatrical music video style that later dominated MTV.
-
But her most disruptive move came in the mid-1990s, when she turned her attention from the stage to the screen. At a time when the internet was still dial-up and streaming video seemed impossible, Kaegi produced the first monthly live webcast series called "Cyber Cabaret". voted best live webcast by Yahoo and C/net, laying the groundwork for livestreaming, influencer media, and branded storytelling decades before they became billion-dollar industries.
-
With the launch of ADDY.media, Kaegi again challenged convention. She built an independent video platform dedicated to covering fashion, entertainment, and culture with authentic journalistic integrity and style. Her editorial videos—distributed through powerhouse partners like MSN.com, Getty, and Shutterstock—reach hundreds of millions of viewers, proving that independent producers can rival legacy media in both influence and audience.
